Our passionate “Movers and Shakers” presentations and teambuilding interventions will definitely improve performance, refresh and inspire your delegates.

Sessions are customised according to your needs and could take the form of an opening short punchy speaker driven session followed by dynamic team interventions.

Depending on numbers, the TEAM BUILDING sessions may be run by a number of facilitators and integrate universal elements such as communication, problem solving, mutual understanding, trust, respect, partnerships, responsibility, accountability & many more. The emphasis in this instance will be on increasing bonds and relationships between delegates whilst having some serious fun. Any other issues which may arise as objectives at a FREE EVENT CONSULTATION can be incorporated into your agenda.

Movers & Shakers are particularly sensitive to the emotional and psychological well-being of each individual as well as the team as a whole. For this reason, we carefully design programs which strive to include every delegate, without leaving anyone out. Yet, we do not force anybody to do anything, but merely encourage people out of their comfort zones. Some of our assistant facilitators even have honours degrees in Psychology. This helps us to effectively manage the “human element” or emotional aspects that may arise.

The interventions range from entertaining Conference room exercises to physical outdoor activities, all of which can be performed by those of moderate fitness. The take-home value is enormous! Presentations with Fully grown Lions - Price on Request. This depends on where the venue is and what the situation is of the conference. Safety of delegates and Health and comfort of these animals make transportation and accommodation of animals at venues more difficult - but possible.

Clues, tasks, Strange Characters, & puzzles lead teams to ultimate destination

Objective

Teams work together to be the first to reach the final destination whilst gathering essential items along the way. The clues lead teams progressively along a route of interesting and obscure places. Many surprises are to be had along the way and a wide variety of interesting activities make for an exciting day filled with laughter and team bonding.

Duration

Anything from 3 to 6 hours depending on start points and destination. Each event is custom built and carefully planned in advance for each client. This is an ideal way to get people to bond en route to a conference destination.

Medium

Depending on size of group, teams can be transported with 16-seater busses which are ideal, 8 to 10-seater combis, or alternatively in delegates own vehicles although this is not recommended. Our preferential bus rates are not included in guide below

Corporate Chaos (aka Chaos Inc.)

Objective

The objective of the event is for each team to strive to make as much profit as possible in order to appease the shareholders. They need to choose which activities they would like to take on in their race for profits. The team needs to decide which “staff” members will be responsible for which projects. Whether they split up to tackle different projects simultaneously or all work together to get through a project quicker.

The session focuses on providing delegates with enhanced team awareness, and giving them energy, inspiration and focus for the future.

Objective

Chopper Adventure Teambuild :

Principles of Flight – Helicopter Teambuild

Objective

Delegates learn essential life & business skills through the analogy of flight. Their comfort zones are stretched by providing each with an opportunity to take the controls of a helicopter in mid-flight. A military-type simulation is introduced to stimulate, initiative, pre-planning, learning to work as a team, and utilizing strengths whilst bolstering weaknesses. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, this half day adventure is guaranteed to thrill even the most hardened adventurers. Flying choppers, strapping loads to helicopters in flight for moving to strategic points, building rafts and standing on the skids at low altitudes to disembark quickly. This is the stuff of movies. Its fun, laughter, bonding and memories will last a lifetime.

Approximately 3 to 5 hours depending on the format and mission selected. Thereafter, allow key people to take the short cut back to town.

High Ropes Teambuild

Objective

The session focuses on providing an opportunity and encouragement to step out of their comfort zones. These achievements will provide confidence and a sense of achievement whilst enhancing team awareness.

Formal High Ropes

Utilizes the “Tower of Power” formal High ropes structure with 4 to 5 elements all structured around a central tower.R22,500 p.p. for up to 30 people R650p.p. thereafter. Venue in Muldersdrift are approx 50km from Johannesburg central.

Adventure High ropes

High rope Challenge Course: Built on and amongst the islands of the Pienaars River, the course provides a challenge for the entire team as well as the individual. Activities such as river crossings, swinging logs, cargo net crossings and a Burma V bridge concentrate on teamwork, problem solving techniques and determination. Price on request. Venue in Hamanskraal area approx. 150km from Johannesburg.

Desensitization Process

Both High Rope options can include a low ropes desensitization session which will assist in building the team up to trying more challenging activities. It can also serve to extend the duration of the event.

Duration

Both options work on a minimum of 2 hours working the rope systems depending on the size of the groups. Obviously larger groups over 25 people can take longer.

SOCCER 2010 WORLD CUP CHALLENGE

Objective

The session focuses on providing delegates with encouragement to display creativity, thinking out of the box and giving them energy, inspiration and enthusiasm for the future.

Brief Outline

Team leaders are appointed and each receives a written guide with the dues and information they need to help them on their journey to the “Zen of Bafana-Bafana-ness”. Before the first challenge is met, each team must “define” themselves.
